Since Chick-fil-A is privately-held and family owned, they have the unique ability to truly define who they are as a company. While CFA’s mission statement may read, “Be America’s Best Quick-Service Restaurant” it is their corporate purpose that defines them:

 

To glorify God by being a faithful steward of all He has entrusted to us. To have a positive influence on all who come in contact with Chick-fil-A.

 

Currently, CFA’s corporate staff has a 97% retention rate. As such, the perception is that you can’t lose your job (and that’s not necessarily true). Since staff has such a high retention rate, it's essential we hire people who fits with CFA's culture.

 

It's about more than getting a job. It's about joining a cause. 

 

This series of recruitment ads, a digital resource book and internal communications and training materials was less about looking for lots of candidates and more about finding like-minded individuals to join our mission.

 

A career with Chick-fil-A is a spiritually and emotionally satisfying journey – those uncomfortable with a corporate culture focused on developing your whole person, need not apply.
